Firmly rooted in the Haute Maurienne region, the Coopérative de Haute Maurienne Vanoise has adapted to the various evolutions in the cheese-making industry over the years, namely by creating a modern and competitive production tool, equipping its cheese cellars with robots, setting up a circuit to allow visitors to see the production, and opening shops in all of the villages of the Haute Maurienne.

But above and beyond this modernisation, the Cooperative strives to maintain its 

original aim of helping farmers out and enabling its employees to flourish. 

Thanks to the AOP (Protected Geographical Status) label, which guarantees the authenticity of Beaufort cheese, the cooperative has managed to conserve its members’ common values of working together in harmony.

Our sales outlets stock authentic local produce made with the unique savoir-faire of farmers from the Haute-Maurienne: Beaufort (AOP), Bleu de Bonneval sur Arc, Tomme de Termignon, cheeses made from goats’ and sheep’s milk from the villages of the Haute-Maurienne, butter, fresh milk, wine, Savoyard jams, honey, etc.
